Today was pretty tough after staying up too late watching the last exitements of the election, but outside a beutiful sunny day helped make this a very nice day nevertheless. I hope you can feel some of that enjoyment from my ink sketch today.

I've had an amazing day working like mad on my bok projects. All comes to those that wait. :-) So lovely to be in a efficient creative mood.

These days we have the winter ahead of us. Way too muc of the summer and now autumn have been wet this year - very wet - here up north in Europe. That misery is the inspiration of today's ink drawing.

Late Monday I arrived back from Tallin, Estland. Unfortunately my photos is on my work computer which is at present being cleaned from about 2000 viruses. I cross fingers that I do not need to reformate it and thus lose everything on it.

I have just got some new inks and brush pens. I think I will love using them.

The last weeks my school as well as my daughter have been busy with exams. This sketch I drew as I sat quarding students hoping someone wanted a break hehehe.

This one was not meant for sale but LOL someone fell for it so in he ned it will leave me. I will however try to do it in a bigger size and coloured before I send it as I had planned. I kind of like it myself because I did manage to get some of that ladies features captured.

Today as usual I had to go out in nature and see what new plants had popped up or new insects had surfaced :-)

I have been struggling the last two months with headache due to my eyesight. Today it has been hard keeping my spirits up since I had planned on getting lots done but computerwork was not good today. Just writing this triggers a worstening, so this will be this short.

As you can see I am still working on the "you and me/us"-topic using lines.

I am at present working with drawings where I use lines as the basic carrier for the expressions. Some will be more abstract than others. Many will to some extent be expreesionistic and be drawn hoping they will be used in my book project "Me and You" which is still in a fairly early stage. I will probably need many many drawings and paintings because I need to be able to use only a part of them.

I am pretty sure I will use this one though because it has an expressive value that I am quite happy about.

I am working on a new bookproject this weekend. Working title is for now The Book and Me. One of the things I teach is Religious studies and the old texts and stories and their history inspire me in so many ways.

This sketch is one I did at the Literacy seminar this week and I find it suitable since the word Bible comes from the word for library.

I have just returned after having been on a seminar for my job as a teacher for two long days. Theme: reading strategies. As is normal sometimes, people do doodle or sketch in situations like this, and so did I. My collegue ended up folding her napkin in the last hour hehehehe.

I had a lovely inquiry today about two of my paintings. I am very grateful for that because that might be the push I needed to get out my oils again :-). I have so many lovely sunsets and sunrise photos from this winter. It would be a big shame not to use them as reference photos. I hope to get strated this weekend. Cross your fingers for me.

Stunning winter weather lately with beautiuful sunrises and sunsets. Me and my camera is out capturing it every day.

Daughter just came home and we enjoyed watching mamma Mia together. Perfect girly night movie.

Had the lovely experience today of not only sending away 3 of my works to Rhode Island but also fetching art works at the post office that I myself have bought.
