An Art Work A Day

I det siste har jeg hatt gleden av å bli lest høyt for i "En pingles dagbok" flere ganger i uka. Det er noe så koselig og avslappende å sammen  med noen leve seg inn i nye verdener at vi alle burde gjøre det mer enten det er de unge som leser for de eldre eller omvendt.

Most of us who read sometimes dream about the love described in the classics or other stories where the men are romantic heroes and all the women beatiful and where there is real drama more that quarrels about who are to take of the grabage and who are to do the dishes.

I am a megareader and I read almost all kinds of litterature. However I must admit that I have not read any of the Shades of grey books and probably will not. A cosy chick lit book however on a dark and cold winter night in between grading student papers is a nice distraction. Pink Bird really daydream along with her romance books.

I am working on a new bookproject this weekend. Working title is for now The Book and Me. One of the things I teach is Religious studies and the old texts and stories and their history inspire me in so many ways.

This sketch is one I did at the Literacy seminar this week and I find it suitable since the word Bible comes from the word for library.

I have been a columnist for a year now and I am asked to continue.

I have worked hard lately to get the Christmas ball together as some of you know and here is what the local paper showed from it. The title says: The Christmas ball, one of the better ones

I have not taken one single puff of a sigarette in 2008 as I did not in 2007 either which is very good.
