Rocky Beach, acrylics on coldpressed fine grain watercolour paper 24x32cm
0 comments Posted by Trine at 9:34 pmThese days I work and will continue to work hard on my book project: Working title: "On the mountain". I am very happy about the progress this far. Mountains as well as beaches and islands often have some similar characteristics for example the wide view, the bareness and most of all the closeness to the forces of nature. Although harder to breathe due to wind also the place where I really feel I can breathe.
Paintingwise I explore simplistic ways of capturing the feelings I get when walking along beaches or sitting on one.

As I promised yesterday - here is one of the oil paintings I made in warm colours. My daughter came home as well tonight with her boyfriend and I was so happy to see her because she is so busy working and studying that I do not get to see her as much as I'd like. Tonight my house is full. It is near 2. a.m all have gone to sleep and I have just washed the dishes and enjoy a bit of time for myself to finish my day. All of you mums (and a few dads) know what I mean ;-).
$100 all p&p worldwide included
