An Art Work A Day

The Easter week has been a mixture of lovely weather and the winter returning once more with a couple of new layers of snow. Nature like me seems to have ben dormant and waiting for spring. I am now mentally very ready for a bare landscape to take walks in. Just having restarted on a diet and hping to be able to get lots of physical activity in, I hope for nice outdoors weather.

Today I am very happy about one thing. My tom cat who has been missing for 4 days returned. he probably hid in some barn and did not want to get soaked going home in the terrible rain we have been having lately.

Another painting inspired by that strange red cloud formation

Another painting inspired by that strange cloud formation I saw last week.

These last days I have tresured every blue sky I have seen, longing for colour. yesterday and tonight it rained and rained so when the clouds lift and the blue returns my spirit lifts with it. Beneath is one of several hundreds of reference photos I have taken recently. This one was taken March the 7th.

Last week I saw this fantastic sky with a very special cloud formation, see reference photo under. Of course it inspired me and robably will for several paintings. I hope you like it.

This, like "Turbulence" is a large work painted in a "blurred" style (it is not the photo that is unlear) . I made it blurred or blended because that makes the eye react differently to it compared to crisp paintings. I hope to underline the message it conveys through this style.
I would very much appreciate comments on this use.

I had a loverly day today with my daughter celebrating her 20th Bday which is tomorrow. She came home today because she had the day off work and she probably will celebrate with friends tomorrow or in the weekend.

Some days we all wish we could carry a safe house with us on our backs that we could crawl into when times get tough.

I have had a fantastic day today artwise, painting like mad . Finally I have the energhy and time to get down a few ideas that has been swimming around in my brain for a while.

The sad thing is that my son has been feeling very poorly today due to his pneumonia and has not been able to leave the coach all day. Any get well vibes or prayers from you will be appreciated.
