As told you yesterday I would show you the deer studies I did in ink on shuen paper during the last days - some are ok, some not so ok but all are parts of a learning experience. Two of them are done after instructions on youtube. Definately not as easy as it seems when watching a pro doing it hehe.

The acrylics is my way of trying to show an autumn scene late in the evening.

Red Trees in Autumn,
acrylics on canvas board 18x24
$100 p&p worldwide included

This deer calf got a bit leggy but then again that is how some of them look, LOL just think of Bambi on the ice.

This near abstract deer ended up looking likea lama hehe

And this one truned definately out more like a reindeer.

here is the first one made by using yourtube instruction

and here is the second., a pair

I do hope that me showing also my studies and work that shows me learning but not totally "there" yet inspires those readers that like me " could not draw or paint even if their life depended on it". Find a crayon, a pen, a encil or a brush and just have a go. Your should have seen some of my first tries - let's just say that any animal turned out a transgenic and not on purpose. LOL

My Eye is working out fine. sleeping with the nightglasses on was not easy and also I am used to getting up very early so by approximately 6 this morning I had begun sorting through papers on tidying up my desk at work. VERY much needed. Then the 8th and 9th grade had some entertainment and grades were delivered. Since 4 of our staff is retiring including the inspector and the headmaster of 25 years, the usual coffee and cake afterwards included gifts and speaches.

Today it was raining a lot, great for the greenery, and probably good for my eye too that it was less light since I had to drive nearly2 hours each way for my first control after the surgery yesterday. Next check is in a week, then in a month and last after 3 months. In the mean time I am to use kloramfenicol drops and drops of fake tears and be careful with sun and water etc untill it heals.

Already it is nearly perfect vision and improving by the hour as the swelling goes away.

I hope to get some more painting done tomorrow. LOl I'll probably end up walking around in circles wondering what to do since I am so used to being so very very busy.

Today I noticed that I have had a visitor from Japan. That map is quite interesting. I had to smile because I thought about how truly horrible he probably thought I had used parts of his written language. If you (visitor from Japan) should visit again, then please excuse this newbie.
