An Art Work A Day

On the 11. April there will be a cultural Evening in the church here in Drangedal. There will be artists as well as photos and paintings displayed. Today reading the newspaper I got a chock - it seems I am the only painter - I thought we'd be several. The lady to the left is Magnild Gillberg, an amazing local artist and a lovely lady and friend. She and the rest is part of the Cluture board. The man in the middle is the principal of the culture school which is responsible for music education here among other things. The last person is the priest of the church.

The newspaper managed to forget to put my last name in LOL and wrote only Trine Meyer which is quite well done considering I am a columnist in the paper. And LOL even more astonishing is the fact that this article is written by my ex father in law and HE should now that my last name is Vogsland hehehe. Maybe he there and then thought that I had changed my name.


I will keep you updated on how this exhibition turns out.

I really wonder how this one would look with a professional broad mount and the right frame because to be frank, I think it turned out great even if I must say so myself. To be frank I am very unsure what to price them as so I'll just say - give me an offer LOL or give me some time to think.

Some Great News
Today I got a call asking me to be one of the guestwriters in the local weekly newspaper. I felt honored and accepted so now I am going to write one every 4th issue/week. When I asked when the deadline for the first one was she laughed silently and I realized they wanted me to start at once. Deadline is tomorrow at noon and when asked whether I took the challenge, I did :-) On Thursday that first one will be posted.
