Just a few more sketches practicing calligraphy today. I can't wait for the weekend and the long weekend next week because I now long for a big painting spree. All are 2.5x.

I am getting hooked on learning kanji, the chines/japanese signs. Studying the socalled yoji jukugo with their often old meaning or wisdom is a great way to learn. I definately need to get some mounts and some nice simple black frames to make these come out properly.

Yesterday, I enjoyed myself watching March of the penguins and made two quick sketches after seeing that movee, and I wanted to share them with you. Hopefully during the week or weekend I'll find time to do better ones because I am not totally satisfied with these.
