Still working on my figure sketching skills. Tiny step by tine step I will get there. I do however think I will need to do a couple of hundred of thses sketches before I am satisfied myself. But my deal with my blog viewers is to also show the non perfect works of art of mine.

Figure study in blue ink

1 comments Posted by Trine at 11:58 pm

This weekend I have had a bit too little time for painting. My windows are nearly 60 years old and desperately need to be fixed and repainted. My mum will visit next week and she is an expert in this but her wrists wil not allow her to do the sanding down part so that is what I have been doing with 12 window frames this weekend. My shoulder ache :-(( but it will be lovely to get them done before the winter. I'll probably spray some foam on the sides for insulance as well. Unfortunately the worst part will be the otsides because parts are dropping off, well they are OLD. I'll probably have to get new double glazing windows for the entire house very soon but for now I need them to survive another year at least while I decide what kind of new windows I want and find a way to finance it. Very expensive.
Figure study in blue ink on shuen paper a bit larger than A4.

Figure studies in Charcoal (sitting one is SOLD)

Both are drawn on thick acid free painting paper 27x35cm. I am fairly satisfied with them and hope to find time to make more during the weekend. I hope you enjoy watching the variation in my works that I show you.

"Situps", acrylics 13.5x17cm on paper

0 comments Posted by Trine at 2:07 am

It was raining today - AS USUAL and I could feel myself getting sick of it. It so ruins my work on the house and the roof. Last night and today I instead decluttered the kitchen cupboards so now I basically have a ground floor which is fairly empthy and a shed which is filled with black bin bags :-))). Lovely feeling for each bag I carry out.

In th evening I went to the gym, spent 65 min with fairly high incline and speed on the treadmill, 30 min on the rowing machine and 4x12x 95kg in the leg press machine. I'll probably become a bit sore tomorrow.

I guess you can see where I got the inspiration tonight. Definately not my favourite exercise.

After that I went to a collegue to get a washing done. My washer has something wrong with the electronics and I can not get a repairman in before all the materials stacked near it is removed due to it always becoming wet when they start to open up washers.

Landscape from Bodø + ACEO: Olympics in the Old days

0 comments Posted by Trine at 12:32 am

I have been working mostly in miniature lately so I guess it is time I try to work myself up to the normal sized canvases again hehe. This acrylic is 18x24cm

Landscape in Bodø
Acrylics on artist canvas panel 18x24cm
$100 all p&p worldwide

It has been a while since I tried to draw or paint figures so I found out I would try a bit today. Not perfect but not way too bad either. It is also painted by using coffee as the medium.

Olympics in the Old days. Please visit my ebaystore if you want to bid on this item.
