Abstract Paradise Lifeforms, encaustic 7x9cm + photos

I have had a lovely day - the sun has been shining, baby ghost is healthy, I have been walking with a collegue and dug up blackberry plant which my stick insects are supposted to love. I also did a bit of gardening so I am very happy about today. Below the painting are photos taken on that walk.

Today's painting is an abstract inspired by nature's beauty.

Our walk took us along this small pond.




Here beavers have been very busy working.

And the smaller animals also were out walking on this road









This is called a "Gooseling" and is such a symbol of spring arriving. We often bring in brances with them indoors. .
Below are the first sign of a typical symbol of summer, wild strawberries. And of cours ethey are to be put on straws hehehe.

I find it interesting that you walked by a pool or pond because before I read that, the first thing that came to my mind, when looking at your abstract, was that it reminded me of seeing under a microscope the unbelievably tiny living creatures in a drop of water.
