Frozen Straws on Blue, acrylics on canvas panel 18x24cm

Yesterday I bought a new cobolt blue acrylic paint and I had to test it out properly today. These blue paintings look quite good in broad silver frames.

A Few Rocks - SOLD

This one left tonight with one of my collegues who visited. First we took a long walk in the area in the near darkness and afterwards we just sat here enjoying life and talked. I asked her which ones of my latest works I should invest in proper framing for and let me tell you - it will be expensive LOL. I am very happy that she found so many worth the expense.
This one she herself fell for.

Autumn Field, acrylics on canvas panel

Today has been a very mixed day. I had back problems so I stayed home from work. The good part is that I finally got really started on filling up my ebay-store and I hope I will have put most of my work up by the end of this week.

I wanted to paint a bright warm painting today since we have had so many greay days here lately. Fortunately the sun came out for a bit today and gave me the inspiration. Parts of this painting's composition is from a photo taken by my brother. Anyway I ended up giving it an extra layer of warm colour and was happy about the result.

Straws in front of Red Sky - Acrylics on canvas panel

This weekend both my Mum and my son came home visiting which is so lovely. You can probably see my tender heart due to the use of warm colours :-). This one was painted in acrylics yesterday. Today I continued with the warm colours but in oils, so keep returning and I'll post them here in a day or two.
