Painting outside today - aquarelles=watercolours SOLD (YBOBB)
0 comments Posted by Trine at 11:17 pmToday the sun was shining and life was good so I grabbed some watercolour paper and a box of watercolours, a tin of water and a few brushes and brought it all outside. Here are the results:
A Forsythia outside my house. It is kind of incredible how these flowers bloom long before they get any leaves and as a photo earlier this month shows while we still have snow.

Jippii, Finally I got down to painting again. It is like coming alive again. I have missed it so much but had to sort of some other things lately, like having my mum for a visit and her being ill, sorting out things at work and duties in connection with the local teachers union's annual meeting etc etc. From today on I hope to have spare time for my own journey towards better health and artistic skills.
In London I bought two pads of high quality (300 g/m2) watercolour paper in postcard (A6) size even with the address and stamp places marked on the back. This could be lovely gifts to get; Original paintings as postcards. This is the first one I have painted; a freesia using watercolours.
