An Art Work A Day

Update on my old cat that had to see the vet last Thursday. After spending most of last weekend and this week sleeping on the duvet of my bed he is now fairly back to being himself again. A few days more on the antibiotics and hopefully he will be fully restituted.

Continuing my theme of Love outside of the majority view and playing around drawing for fun.

Felt for doing something cute tonight.

Today I had loads of fun creating this figure.

Continuing the theme of finding friends. Today my focus is that we do not have to be similar to be friends and play together.

I've spent several hours today searching my whole house for a painting I am sure I have seen within the last weeks that someone wanted to buy and I can not find it. Horror. I have sorted through all possible boxes and stacks several times and frankly I can not think of anywhere else it can be. I hate things like this, don't you. The worst part is that usually the item IS there and only when you have given it up properly will it surface.

SOLD on the exhibition two weeks ago to be used as a Christmas present

No less than 2 cats and 4 hedgehog paintings in this style sold on the exhibition last weekend along with a rooster and hen painting. Online an ink drawing sold too. Hopefully the trend will ocntinue. So many people that I wouldn't have thought that about loved this style. Just goes to show that I should stop doubting myself and just keep painting however and whatever the muse guides me to.

Today was pretty tough after staying up too late watching the last exitements of the election, but outside a beutiful sunny day helped make this a very nice day nevertheless. I hope you can feel some of that enjoyment from my ink sketch today.

I've had an amazing day working like mad on my bok projects. All comes to those that wait. :-) So lovely to be in a efficient creative mood.

These days we have the winter ahead of us. Way too muc of the summer and now autumn have been wet this year - very wet - here up north in Europe. That misery is the inspiration of today's ink drawing.
