- Telemark, Norway
- I am a teacher who has been on a journey into art and writing the last 12 years and I do not know where my muse will take me. It has seen me work in Oils, in watercolour, doing stained glass and mosaic as well as cutting into marble and forging and welding. You can find much of my work on the Daily Painters Gallery and my books on lulu.com. I’m on facebook too. My works are in private collections worldwide. I have attended classes and workshops in Norway and UK but have no degree in art. Most of all I am a self studying artist who spends time practicing and studying art and art techniques.

I love this painting because it is such a wonderful combination of realistic looking birds, but with appropriate expressions for humans! The combination makes me laugh!
This is my interpretation of this painting. I think that the male was out with the boys after work, maybe to celebrate a single friend's finding a mate. Unfortunately, the male got drunk from drinking too much worm wine and he passed out at the nest of a friend, where the party was being held. When he woke up the next morning, he not only had a terrible hangover, he was terrified about trying to explain his night's absence to his mate! He gets home and sure enough, she's so angry that her pinfeathers are standing straight up and she's waiting for him to try to explain where he's been and why he hasn't been home all night, so she can really give him a good scolding!
