Looking Sideways, oil on canvas panel 18x24cm

This is one of mine that people probably either hate or love LOL

Been home from work today with a bad cold so this is one that I had fun making earlier this year. First day of not painting for a very long time. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow.

    This is a very interesting abstract because although the face is heart shaped, the shape of love, its expression is suspicious and rather frightening. I interpret this painting as one that shows how a lover can become suspicious and even cruel.

    I find the look in his eyes a bit fun myself too . Every time I see it it makes me smile
