Pearly Chick 105 - Asleep as School watercolor ACEO 2.5x3.5in

At work we now Push the students hard in connection with the end of terms papers. Then we teachers are pushed hard grading them. So I guess everyone can get a bit tired.
The shimmeryness of these cards depends very much on the light. Of course the flash tends to exaggerate it in photos.

Pearly Chick 1 - Listening to Music, ACEO pearly watercolours on wc paper, 2x5x3.5in

Today I have enjoyed playing with my watercolour set bought recently in Bergen. The colours are shimmery like pearly nailpolish and I find that nice to use now that we are heading for Christmas. This is my new character; Pearly Chick. I hope you will like her.

Tree Chopped Up - Snow Arriving

Stressing like mad to get the tree and its branches chopped up before it all will b covered in snow. Even with a bad cold I forced myself out and chopped up twice the amount of smaller branches that you see here. In th second photo you can see a collegue of mine dividing up the base of the main trunk - quite a beast.

Tidying up after the Giant Fell

All weekend I have worked very very hard, cutting away all smaller branches both those that can be used for firewood and all the twigs that has to be got rid of. Nearly done here and ready for the men with their motorsaws. I did all this using only manual tools. Very proud of myself and all the blisters in my hands. hehehe.

And that was the end of the BIG Marple Tree

Today, after years of debating with myself the big marple tree in my garden was cut down. I had to have some specialized help because it could have fallen over both electricity lines as well as the roof of the house. Now I only have the major job of making this into firewood and tidy it all up.
